During JUNE, JULY and AUGUST the owners will be residing in the big masseria, part of the same Estate. Guests will have priority use of the pool during this time. All other months guests will have private use of the whole estate and pool. A beautiful property with large salt infinity pool, orchard and six hectares of land. The property was refurbished in 2014 in respect of the tradition offering all comforts: free wifi, television and Sky, all the needed household appliances, safety alarm. The first part of the Masseria was built starting from 1800 and later modified in subsequent phases. The name Terre Rosse (Red Lands) comes from the typical red color of the ground. The Masseria has been fully refurbished in 2014 with respect of original architecture and using only materials of the ancient tradition. The refurbishment of the building was done with the utmost care of the minimal details and with great taste. During the refurbishment great care was dedicated to the respect of the environment. Indeed, water is warmed by solar panels and electricity is produced by photovoltaic panels. In addition the water of the infinity pool does not contain chlorine but is instead treated with salt. The building has a panel heating system. The Masseria is surrounded by 6,5 hectares of land with centenary olive trees, almond trees, figue trees and the typical mediterranean scrub. More recently the owners planted a large orchard with apple, pear, orange, peach and mulberry trees. The guests are free to enjoy the fresh fruit every morning. Upon arrival to the Masseria, after the arch you will find yourself in a large court from where you will be astonished by the view of hundreds of olive trees arriving till the horizon that reaches the sea coast of Brindisi. The house features ceilings with star vaults high 5 meters. The height of the ceilings guarantees an optimal ventilation along the summer season. The building has a nice mezzanine that divides the living area from a large bedroom with a private bathroom. In this same building there is a second bedroom with private bathroom, the kitchen and a living with a chimney. It is possible to eat both inside and outside on a large private terrace overlooking the olive trees and the swimming pool at distance. The buildings have wi-fi, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, espresso coffee machine, television with access to SKY, security alarm, remote controlled entrance gate. The building overlooks the court where there is a refreshing pergola where to eat with friends. From there you can see the swimming pool surrounded by olive trees and the mediterranean scrub that you can reach by a short walk. The swimming pool is located in a protected and silent area. It is long 17,5 meters and large 3,5 meters, excellent for swimming. There are large steps to enter the water where you can also seat, chat and get a sun tan. T>he Masseria is 240 metres above sea level The entire space. I will be always accessible by cell phone and, for emergency, you will be able to contact a reference person on site. You can reach Ostuni in 10/15 minutes by car, Ceglie Messapica in 5 minutes, Cisternino in 20. The closest beach is 20 minutes away. In Ceglie you find a supermarket and shops for every need. PLEASE NOTE for season 2023 - the owners will be residing in the big masseria that is also on the same property during JULY and AUGUST 2023.
